Pandemic has not dampened the dream to study overseas

Do you have friends who are constantly on the lookout for good colleges abroad? Many students are still searching for their dream university, in the middle of a pandemic. If you think it is weird and the pandemic may have dampened the dreams of many students to study abroad, you are mistaken. Because human lives revolve around the notion of hope and faith, it's not unusual to see people planning to return to their academic dreams once all this ‘settles’. The craze of studying overseas brings us back to the question of how seriously the youth of the country takes their education. It turns out, much more than their health. Some of the ideas stand firm because of the idea of a foreign country and better healthcare goes hand in hand. Students believe that during this storm, they can start their classes remotely and once it is over and travel resumes like before, things and particularly college would go back to normal. The youth of India are smart and so now the choice of the country to fulfill their dreams depends on how the COVID situation is handled there. As much as we applaud the young generation for being so positive and proactive in a way, we also urge them to consider their options within the country. A lot of our choices as students come from what we know about the institution, what our friends say about that institution, how modern and technically sound it is, and most importantly, how much value it will add to our career. At Sanskriti University, a prestigious university in Uttar Pradesh, we believe that awareness is the key. Indian universities fail to impress students because not many people are talking about it. It is the same way as not many people are lauding the efforts of ISRO but are going gaga over NASA. As an Institution that promotes Indian culture, we believe that it is in the soil of this country that provides great intellectuals to the world. Take their international qualifications away from them and you will still see them succeeding.

It is, on one hand, very heartening to see our young students ready to brave every pandemic that comes their way but at the same time, it is also very surprising to see them not choosing their country. Yes, it is all a matter of choice now. In conclusion, we would say that it is good that you want nothing but the best for yourself. But before making a decision have a good look at what is best for you. The opportunities are endless once you start discovering. The COVID crisis situation has taught us that a pandemic cannot stop us from learning and going for our dreams. It has also shown the caliber of certain institutions that moved beyond rote learning into the digital space benefitting from the gift of Technology. Today, the world needs more students who can make it a better place with their efforts. Become one.
